Summer is officially upon us, it’s time to pull our items out of storage and to embrace all of the wonderful summer clothing options! White is one of my favorite colors to wear in the warmer months. There’s nothing like a crisp, white shirt, dress, jeans, pair of sneakers- you name it! I’m a sucker for it. I’ve put together a list of some great white options for everyone that you can mix, match and rewear all summer long. Go bold for a ful white on white ensemble or just play with your accessories with pops of white. No matter your comfort level, there’s something for you! In case you missed it, I did an entire white denim guide that you can check out here!

Size Inclusive Weekend Style with J.Crew

Thanks to J.Crew for collaborating with me on this post.

Writing this makes my heart sing because I have officially fallen in love with J.Crew all over again. Growing up, I always loved their styles but their sizing was inconsistent, I would sometimes leave the store feeling defeated. In recent years, they did a major overhaul of their sizing, including expanding their size range. I have to say, everything has been ON POINT lately and I couldn’t imagine stepping into summer without some of their styles! I’ve featured a few other J.Crew looks here, here and here to see if you like them and it seems like the feelings are mutual. Today, I decided to try something new and step out in these blue linen pants!

If we’re being honest, I’m new to the wide leg pants trend. I love that this pattern has black and white in it so you can easily pair a white button down or a black tee with it, depending on your vibe! I paired them with this white blouse, these earrings, the comfiest sandals ever and this clutch!

SIZING DETAILS:

Wearing my usual size 14 / large in everything and I’d say everything fits very true to size.

Garden Party Vibes with QVC

Very excited to be able to collaborate with QVC, I’d like to thank them for compensating this post! As the temperatures continue to rise, it’s time to shed the layers and reveal our best dressed selves. I’ve recently discovered all of the offerings at QVC and I have to say, I’m quite impressed, especially with how size inclusive they are! Any other QVC lovers out there? You know I am a full blown jumpsuit queen so I thought it would be fun to try out a few styles that caught my eye, all perfect for a day to night event.
Which one do you like best?

Look #1: Lisa Rinna Collection Regular Surplice Wide Leg Jumpsuit

This jumpsuit feels like you’re wearing pajamas- SERIOUSLY the most comfortable thing I’ve put on my body that is acceptable for wearing all hours of the day. It comes in 3 colors and sizes XXS-3X. I’m wearing an XL!

DSC08778.jpg

Look #2: H by Halston Regular Printed Jet Set Jersey Crop Wide-Leg Jumpsuit

If you’re a gal who loves a wide and cropped pant or even if you’ve never tried, now is the time! I find them to be so flattering on all different body types. This fabric is stretchy so it’s very comfortable and breathable. It comes in three different colors and runs from XS-3X, I’m wearing an XL!

DSC08853.jpg

Look #3: Du Jour Printed Faux Wrap Front Romper

How adorable is this romper? I love that it has a wrap front so if you’re nervous about the fabric riding up, the extra flap of fabric makes it look like a dress with the added comfort of shorts! This one also comes in three different prints and sizes XXXS-3X. I’m rocking the Black Multi in an XL. As shown with this KUT from the Kloth Amelia Lightweight Denim Jacket, also wearing size XL.

Which one is your favorite? Leave your thoughts below!
I couldn’t resist, I scooped up a few more options that I will be working into my summer wardrobe. Be sure to tune into my stories to hear more about them.

Well, my friends it is FINALLY spring. It’s time to level up your look with warmer temps and big events with looks from Express. I’m excited to partner up with them again this month to show you my leveled up look. In case you missed my previous posts, you can check them out here and here.

My friends at Express were kind enough to offer and exclusive code just for my readers, $25 Off $100 in-store and online using ring code (8129) It expires 05/15/2019 so act fast!. Terms and conditions apply, view here.

This season is all about bold colors, bright florals, utility details, and new proportions that can take you into every event on your calendar. From festivals, to weddings, to vacation, it’s time to finally get outside and play in the best Express looks. Many of you have been asking for workwear options and I’ve never rocked a pantsuit before in a bold / bright print so I jumped at the opportunity to do so.

SIZING DETAILS: I am wearing a size large in everything shown here and I have to say, everything runs TTS (true to size) if not, a little big. If in between sizes, size down! I’m a big fan of the brand, especially because they have become more size inclusive! I’ve found the best luck with sizing option online so if you’re a little unsure, order a bunch of sizes online and return to store.

I styled this white blazer and matching high waisted ankle pant with a pop of color in this pink cami (comes in 7 other colors). Don’t forget to accessorize! I thought it would be fun to layer these delicate necklaces and add a rainbow drop earring.

Spring Break Essentials: Try On Confidential

It’s SPRING BREAK TIME, baby! I am SO ready for a vacation. We usually go away around Easter and escape to somewhere warm. My skin is craving the sun. I thought it would be fun to switch things up this week and share my vacation style. If we’re being honest, I really wanted this one to be all about shorts but truthfully, I haven’t found enough pairs that I LOVE to do a whole post about them. It’s important for me to share quality pieces at all price points and I didn’t want to force it. So this week, pack with me! The places we are going is pretty casual / laid back but I’ve got some great basics and items that are great and will last me throughout the summer months! Jumpsuits + Rompers For Any Occasion: Try On Confidential

Today’s #TryOnConfidential on my IG stories features one of my absolute FAVORITE closet staples… the jumpsuit/romper. I wasn’t always a “Jumpsuit Kween” but I adapted the trend a little over a year ago and I’ve never looked back. Why do I love them so much? Funny you ask. I actually love them because they are easy to throw on, you can INSTANTLY look polished and stay comfortable. I also love that I don’t have to wear shorts underneath to prevent any chafing situation. So basically, it’s my lazy girl hack for looking chic and staying comfortable.

I’ve gone ahead and divided them by categories, but if you prefer to view them all you can just scroll to the bottom to see everything. Many items are on sale so be sure to stock up for every occasion. Would love to hear your thoughts or any questions below!

A (Girl) Power Pant with Express

In honor of Women's Empowerment Month, I’ve teamed up with Express to share what makes me feel confident and secure to take on whatever challenge that may lie ahead. What we wear tells the story of our ambition, it’s important to reflect that positively. I’m typically one to always gravitate towards a dress or jumpsuit (one thing to put on bc… lazy) but today I’ve challenged myself to step outside of my comfort zone and try a bold pant moment! I styled these pants with a grey suede moto jacket, light top, classic nude strapped heels and a gold hoop. When I take risks with a particular style, I like to keep the rest of my look pretty simple.

sizing details + discount code:

I’m fairly new to shopping Express but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by their size inclusive collection lately and how consistent their sizing is. I purchased a large/14 in everything and it all ran very true to size. I had a lot of fun shopping for this bold look, I hope you do too. 5 Ways to Style a Striped Tee: Talbots x O Magazine

I’ve decided to partner with Talbots and Stylinity in support of  O, The Oprah Magazine Collection now available at Talbots! This special collaboration benefits Dress for Success, with 30% of the proceeds going back to the organization. In case you’re not familiar, Dress for Success is an international not-for-profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

In spirit of this exciting collaboration, I’ve been inspired to show you two ways to style this classic tee. I love how versatile and flattering this shirt is. I know I will be wearing it on repeat all spring long!

Ways to style:

Pair with white denim and a bright colored blazer to give your casual tee a more sophisticated vibe. Don’t be afraid to roll those sleeves up and reveal the sleeve detail on the tee.

Going for a more relaxed weekend look? Throw on your favorite pair of black denim, jean jacket and little white sneaker.

Other ways to style:

  • Pair with distressed denim and ankle boots for a dressed-down look.

  • Go simple (but chic) and pair with a button-front A-line skirt.

  • Throw on a pair of leggings and voila! Your new favorite travel outfit.

The limited-edition, be-good-to-yourself pieces (part of Talbots’ ultra-comfortable T by Talbots collection) are inspired by their belief that women should look and feel great on the go. Shop the entire collection here!

Away Luggage Review + FAQs

I’ve recently had the chance to try Away luggage to see if it lived up to all of the hype. My first trip with it was a trip to Europe. I challenged myself to only packing The Bigger Carry On (with ejectable battery) for 12 days. To see more about what I packed, you can check out this blog post here.

In a recent poll on my IG stories, I collected all of your questions about the bag and here are my honest opinions. Full disclosure, Away was kind enough to gift me the luggage but this post is not sponsored whatsoever. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

To view full product details on The Bigger Carry On, please check them out here.

QUESTIONS + ANSWERS

What size do you have?

The Bigger Carry On with the ejectable battery in Navy.
I also have The Bigger Carry On with the ejectable battery in Green and The Everywhere Bag in Navy. This size perfectly fits in standard airplanes. I had no issues fitting it in the overhead bin. The Bigger Carry-On is made to fit the standard that airlines actually use—the sizer. And the sizer can fit slightly bigger bags.

Featured and Details: Durable polycarbonate shell- Ejectable battery that charges your phone - TSA-approved combination lock - 360° spinner wheels - Interior compression system - Hidden laundry bag Exterior measurements 22.7” x 14.7” x 9.6” Interior measurements 21” x 14.5” Weight 7.8 lbs Capacity 47.9L

Does it hold everything you need? Or smaller than normal?

It may seem smaller than a normal size bag but it really does fit a lot. The bag zips in half, so you have one compartment for clothing, the other for side for toiletries, shoes, etc. I was honestly shocked by how much I could fit into the bag.

Best way to pack thing into it?  How much stuff can you get in it? How many days?

In case you missed it, I shared how I packed for 12 days in Europe during the winter in a blog post here. The best way to pack (in my opinion) is to roll your items and use packing cubes. The packing cubes really help squish things down to maximize your space. I also highly recommend this flat toiletry bag. As a chronic over-packer, I was surprised to see how efficiently I was able to pack for this long trip. It’s definitely doable.

Is it easy to carry on to planes?

Very much so. I really like how sleek it is and balanced. With some of my other rolling bags, it gets top heavy and often falls over. The handle is conveniently placed so that the weight is distributed evenly. The size is perfect and fits seamlessly in the overhead bin with zero issues.

Is the handle sturdy? Easy to pull/turn? Is it rolling well?

Yes to all. I was very skeptical because I previously had the Travelpro Platinum Magna 2 and the wheels are incredible. Although these wheels aren’t as heavy duty as my other bag, it still held up really well and glided nicely. Sometimes it’s a little difficult to wheel on carpet, but so was my other bag. I’ve been pulling the Away bag through all scenarios, down stairs, through city streets and I’ve been impressed by how sturdy it is.

Durability? How is wear and tear? Scratches? Does outside get damaged?

It’s extremely durable. When you receive the bag, it comes with a self-cleaning kit which I haven’t used yet even though I maybe should. It

What is the texture like? Does it scrape hands?

The outside of the bag is a durable polycarbonate shell, which makes it waterproof and easy to clean. It’s porous and hard but not rough, if that makes sense. I’ve had no issues with scraping or rough textures against my skin.

How’s the battery feature? Love it or is it too complicated?

To be honest, I was actually nervous that it was going to be complicated but it’s SO simple. You just pop it out, charge it before your trip and push it back in. I usually carry this portable charger on me at all times but I’ve used this one quite a few times when my other one died. I think it’s a feature worth having, it absolutely doesn’t hurt.

Comparison on what you used before and the compartments?

As previously mentioned, I used this bag. The main difference in the compartments is that my old one was just one large compartment. The Away bag is evenly split into two. I prefer the Away bag because it’s easier to access things while you’re traveling. You don’t need to dig to the bottom, if that makes sense. I loved the functionality and customer service of my Travelpro, but I didn’t love the look of it.

What makes it different/ worth the splurge?

So just as a friendly reminder, I am not an Away partner, I am not being paid to promote this whatsoever. Aside from the bag being extremely functional, it’s sleek. I like how fashionable AND functional this bag is. The design is extremely smart and thought through. For so long, I’ve had bags that were functional but didn’t always look cool/ sleek. This is the first bag that I’ve found that offers both.

Frequently Asked Bra Questions

Last week, I shared a #TryOnConfidential featuring sports bras. I was incredibly excited by all of your questions and realize there is so much more ground to cover. I’ve been sifting through my DM’s and the questionnaire I posted yesterday. I wanted to put this all into a blog post so we can refer back to later.

Here are your most frequently asked bra questions:

Q: Where do I get fitted for a bra?

A: Bra fitting is a professional skill. There is nothing like getting fitted for a bra in person. My top suggestions would be Nordstrom (they go through an intensive bra training process) or a bra specialty store in your town, find a store near you here. If you’re in Buffalo, I’d highly recommend Lace & Day. Two sisters own it and I PROMISE you will have an amazing experience.

Q: I really can’t get to a store, any other bra fitting tips?

A: Grab a tape measure and check out these resources that I have found helpful.
- Bra Size Calculator - Wacoal Bra Size Finder -

Q: What’s your favorite strapless?

A: I’ve been wear testing a BUNCH of strapless bras, I’m still searching for more options but here are my favorites so far. As a friendly reminder, PLEASE refer to the size guides above before you purchase.

Q: What’s your favorite t-shirt bra?

A: These are a few of my favorites:

Q: What’s your favorite non-wired/lounging bra?

A: All about a good lounge (no wire) bra for around the house. These are a few of my favorites. Note: these are NOT very supportive, I don’t typically wear these out of the house unless I have a really baggy sweater on.

Q: How many bras should I actually own?

A: Technically, you should have a bra for every day of the week. You should definitely have a rotation of bras. This helps your bras last longer. You don’t need a molded/padded bra for every outfit- only t-shirts. You can wear a laced cut and sewn bra under blouses, thick sweaters, etc. I am probably not the right person to ask because I probably have 50+ bras… I get a bunch from my job but I just can’t get enough! :)

Q: How do you care for your bras? Where do you store them?

A: I use Forever New powder on my underwear, bras and swimsuits. It safely cleans lingerie, hosiery, swimwear, silks, woolens and other colorfast delicates It has a natural base of citrus and multiple sodas, cleans then rinses completely from the fabric leaving no soap residues to damage thread fibers. HIGHLY recommend. I store my bras in a drawer- speaking of which, I need to re-organize! Thanks for the reminder!

Q: I am a wide band but small cup, any suggestions on where to find a bra?

A: I would try Elomi, Cacique, Sculptresse. But do yourself a favor and get professionally fitted. You may not be as small of a cup as you think.

Q: I need a smaller band but large cup, any suggestions on where to find a bra?

A: If you are confident in your size, I’d recommend trying out: Elomi, Freya, Panache, Chantelle to name a few! PLEASE do yourself a favor and go get professionally fitted.

Q: Do you have any recommendations for pregnancy or postpartum bras?

A: Depending on the person and their current size, it’s hard to recommend a specific style. Only because everyone’s sizes may fluctuate. Sometimes breast sizes are smaller, bigger, or stays the same but most likely our tissue becomes more “relaxed”. Sometimes breasts can have one more shallow than the other. The best answer is to get refitted once you are have stopped breast feeding/pumping. It’s important to know every body will fit a different silhouette/style. For pregnancy,  If you’re looking for comfy bras to wear during your first & second trimester, you probably want to look for a wire-free bra (see above). You can still wear underwire bras but your sizes may change in a short period of time, which means you might have to buy multiple bras. During your third trimester, get fitted for your nursing bras. At this point, your breasts should be at its fullest.

Did I answer all of your questions? If not, feel free to leave a comment below or send me a message! xx
