10 Amazon Home Finds We Love
Back at it with another round of Amazon Home finds! BK and I moved into our current home about a year ago, and we’ve had a lot of fun renovating and decorating the spaces. In case you missed them, be sure to check out the different room reveals that I have posted on the blog. I love mixing different pieces and price points in my clothing style, so I knew I wanted to do that with our home. Style doesn’t have to cost a fortune, we were able to save a ton and swap things out seasonally, thanks to our Amazon finds. Here is a list of our top ten favorite items we use constantly!
1. Decorative Tray
This dual-purpose tray works beautifully on top of our ottoman for decor and entertaining! It’s great to be able to add snacks and cocktail napkins on top of it and bring it outside or in the living room when people are over. It comes in a few different colors too! 2. Herb Scissors
I love these scissors, they were one of my favorite pandemic purchases. They perfectly cut fresh herbs but are not limited to just that! You can also use them to cut crispy bacon, the limit does not exisit.
3. Whistling Tea Kettle
I previously shared this kettle on my tea favorites post, it has also made its way onto holiday gift guides. We love it, and you’re able to grab the handle without needing a mitt, although it does come with one too.
4. Double Wall Glass Coffee Mugs
When we moved, I decided to donate all of our mismatched mugs and start again with these. We’ve broken and repurchased a few over the past year, but they’re fantastic. I like that you can have hot beverages in there and comfortably still hold the mug.
5. Wall Sconce
The previous owners of our precious home decided to install 30+ ornate sconces throughout the house. They weren’t our style but we quickly realized how expensive sconces were, thankfully we found a ton on Amazon that were way more budget friendly.
6. Black Round Mirror
We gave this entire front entranceway a makeover, you can check out the individual details on this blog post! I love the simplicity of the circle and clean lines around this one.
7. Pillow Top Mattress Cover
I shared this mattress pad cover on a whim and boy, am I glad I did! Apparently many of you were shopping for one too, it made your most loved items of 2021 list. It’s machine washable too, highly recommend it.
8. Handheld Garment Steamer
This is marketed as a travel steamer but we use this at home non-stop! It’s small but mighty, we rarely use our iron anymore.
9. Throw Pillow Covers
One of my favorite ways to seasonally transition our decor is with pillowcase covers! I’ve found a ton on Amazon that look way more expensive than they are. Pro tip: get a pillow insert that is one size bigger than your cover, that way you’ll have full and fluffy pillows! We like these inserts.
10. Slim Rectangular Waste Bin
Who knew garbage cans could be so chic and fancy? I purchased this twice, one for our bathroom and one for my closet! It adds a fun touch of glam.
