What We Bought On Amazon Lately

Back at it for another round of Amazon finds! While I love to share my picks and discoveries weekly on social media with my 5&5’s and my Amazon storefront, I always love doing a roundup of the random things BK and I have bought and liked. Seeing people’s random purchases is always interesting, so here’s a peek at ours.

1. Pool Towels

I bought these towels on a whim, thinking they came in a four-pack. It arrived as a singular towel, and I was a bit shocked by the price… The size and quality are fantastic, oversized, and really soft. I may have to splurge for a few more.

2. Watermelon Beach Float

What is a summer in our household without a watermelon float? Last summer, we had this one (that BK popped, and I may/may not still be bitter about), and I thought I’d try a new silhouette… I still love the size of the previous one, but these are great and a little more usable for smaller pools. See more of my outdoor/backyard favorites here!

3. Noodle

I have been enjoying the pool as much as humanly possible during pregnancy, I couldn’t wait to get it open. I wanted a noodle to float on, but all the standard ones are small and unsupportive. This one is a winner, I had many DM’s in agreement about it as well!

4. Doggie Bag Dispenser

Our area has a real issue with people leaving dog poop on lawns, so I thought I’d encourage everyone to be a bit more neighborly by putting out these solar-powered light and dog bag dispensers. I have one in our backyard too, which makes it easy and convenient for pick-up duty!

5. Dog Harness

Kate Stickler over at @naptimekitchen recommended this no-pull, and I immediately swiped up. While it took a little bit of a learning curve, it turns out you can teach an old dog new tricks. Hoping this comes in handy when the baby comes too! See more of Walter’s favorites here.

6. Stair Basket

Raise your hand if you have endless piles of stuff constantly going up and down your stairs? It me. Well, I found this basket that fits perfectly on your stairs and has two sturdy handles to make for easy carrying.

7. Shoe Stretchers

My only regret with this purchase is that I didn’t get them sooner! Gosh, the time and pain I could’ve saved myself. These are sold as one, I purchased two for efficiency. They come in three sizes (I got the largest as a size 11) and also come with customizable attachments that you can stretch out your shoes with more precision.

8. Faux Olive Tree

I CANNOT wait to reveal the nursery to you, but I can tell you that we were on the hunt for a few green finishing touches, and this tree looks perfect in the room. It arrived in two pieces, was super easy to install, and fluff the branches. The pot it comes in is quite small, so I did purchase a larger pot to place it in and cover it with faux moss.

9. No-Slip Rug Pags

If you want to make sure the corners of your rug don’t budge without having to commit to a rug pad, these corner pads are fantastic!

10. Blue Bags

If you know, you know about these bags. If you don’t, they’re basically like a more durable Ikea bag with a double zipper and a labeling pouch. I first discovered them when we moved a couple of years ago and still we continue to use them nonstop for clothing storage, seasonal storage, groceries, donations, etc.

11. Hydrating Toner

This brand is a splurge but it has done amazing things to my skin! I haven’t been consistent with a toner in years but this one has made be a believer again. I use with a cotton round after cleansing, before moisturizing, and it always makes my skin feel refreshed. I have more of my beauty favorites here

12. Side Snap Onesies

Someone recently told me that dressing a newborn can be a little intimidating and that these side-snap bodysuits were great so that you don’t have to go completely over their head. These come in a bunch of sizes and color varieties! It could be a good gift idea too. See more of my baby/registry picks here!

13. Felt Letter Sign

Baby K will be making his grand arrival very soon, I’ll be sharing more about what I’m bringing to the hospital but I’m definitely bringing this little welcome sign to share his name, birthday, and his other stats.

14. Calm Gummies

My pelvic floor therapist recommended these gummies and they are fantastic! BK and I both use these now, I usually take 4-5 at night to help with sleep and to stay regular.
