What We Bought on Amazon Lately
Back at it for another round of Amazon finds! While I love to share my picks and discoveries weekly on social media and my Amazon storefront, I always love doing a roundup of the random things BK and I have bought and liked. Seeing people’s random purchases is always interesting, so here’s a peek at ours.
1. makeup bag
This makeup bag was recommended to me by a friend, and I’ve been impressed with it so far. Beware, it fits A LOT, so it may encourage you to overpack, but I love the shape and the way it zips up on an angle, making it easy to access everything inside while keeping things organized.
2. Hair clips
During the peak of my modeling career, hair and makeup artists would always use these clips on me to keep hair out of my face while doing my makeup and without adding any creases. I recently purchased these so I could do the same at home!
3. 3 in 1 dress
I was influenced to buy this dress and shared my review on Instagram recently, and it’s so darn good that I went back and purchased the other silhouettes. It comes in a spaghetti strap, long sleeve, and different length options. The shapewear and shelf bra are built into the dress, so it’s a 3-in-1. I did find some similar options without the undergarments built in if you are interested here!
4. picture frames
I love the look of these clear acrylic frames but the functionality of the make them a true winner. They’re magnetic so you can easily swap photos without screws or prongs.
5. bow tie for walter
If you know Walter, you know he does not miss an opportunity to rock a fresh bow tie. We love these collars with the removable bows; the buckle is flat and not too bulky on his neck and comes in many fun colors. More of Walter’s favorites can be found here.
6. flip flops for bk
BK is very particular about his shoes, especially his flip-flops. He purchased a pair of these sandals a few years ago and wore them to the ground; he just treated himself to a new pair for our trip.
7. spf face
The last time we were away, I shared that I’ve been struggling with SPFs while pregnant and feeling super dry. I had a sweet reader reach out and share this one with hyaluronic acid. I LOVE the way it feels on my face and lays nicely underneath makeup. More of my beauty favorites can be found here!
8. gift for kids
One of my favorite and go-to gifts for kids is this custom name puzzle set. I had one as a kid and loved it. When I got older, my parents glued the letters down, and I hung it as artwork in my room. You can choose the name and colors, and it ships quickly too!
9. joggers
These pants are the jogger version of THE wide-leg pants I shared a while back. I’m not sure why I waited so long to try them because they are equally (if not more) amazing. I’m able to wear my pre-pregnancy size XL and traveled in them yesterday, I highly recommend them! I’ve also heard they are much more accommodating for petite lengths. 10. clip on light
If you work from home or are on video calls a lot, this rechargeable clip-on light is a must! It has a few different settings for the shade of light and the brightness, and I feel much more confident. I have more of my office favorites here!
11. toothpaste
I don’t know what it is, but we’re ALWAYS running out of travel-sized toothpaste. Yes, we snag some from our 6-month cleanings at the dentist, but it’s never enough. Instead of spending $4 on one tiny travel tube at the drugstore, we bought this set in bulk, which has not disappointed me.
12. cover up
My mom has been a big fan of this UPF 50+ clothing brand for years, and I needed some extra sun protection for our trip, so I decided to try. I was impressed with this cover-up! I sized up to XXL for the bump but think it runs true to size, and I think it’ll be great for boat days too.
13. belly band
The bump is growing, and I’ve been seeking extra support. I bought this belly band which essentially acts like a bra for your belly to help minimize bounce. I have more of my pregnancy favorites here!
14. undies
I am very particular about my undergarments (shocker, I know), and underwear has been a challenge in this new phase of life. I’m not ready to succumb to maternity underwear… yet. These have worked well for me before; now, they feel like you’re not wearing anything and are 98% seamless. They come in two sizes (standard and plus) and various rises. 15. gift bags
I feel like I’m ALWAYS scrambling for gift bags, so I like to keep some on hand. I recently bought this set, and they’re so pretty and seasonless.
16. orange peel
If you’re familiar with my citrus obsession, you know that I recently did an orange review, and many of you shared this under $10 tool with me! It makes peeling super easy and foolproof.
