Whenever a new trend hits, it can feel a tad overwhelming. Can I rock this? How do I style? Do I need to purchase a whole new wardrobe around it? So today, we’re digging into the highly requested topic… how to style the lug boot! They’ve been around for a few years but they’ve gotten increasingly more popular. I’ve always shied away from them but now that I’ve done a little research on how to style them, I’m feeling inspired… maybe you will too! Today I’m wearing this pair in my usual size. Faux Leather Leggings
I love the way my leg looks really elongated with the black legging and boot. When I’m wearing a tighter item on the bottom, I like to go more oversized on top. Be sure to check out my guide on the best leggings for everything, in case you missed it.

A blazer is always an easy way to elevate any outfit. The boots feel more on the casual side so I wanted to dress it up a bit for this option.

Dresses
You can pair them with any mini or midi length dress! I particulary love them with flowy midi lengths for a more casual vibe but didn’t have one handy so I opted for a sweater dress which I think looks great too! You could also do a midi skirt and knit sweater as well.

I can’t resist an oversized sweater once the temps drop! As I mentioned above, when I go oversized on top I like to go smaller / slimmer fitting on the bottom!
