Best of Bodysuits

Let’s talk bodysuits. To be honest, I haven’t worn them as much as I could have over the past year but I’ve gotten an influx of requests so I wanted to share some of my favorites for today’s #FitTipTuesday. Why wear a bodysuit? They are a great foundational piece that provides a clean “tucked in” look. Some even provide a light smoothing/shaping to the body as well which can be great for layering. You can wear them with jeans, skirts, pants, shorts. Treat them as you would a t-shirt or tank. You can toss a blazer, cardigan or jacket over it. Sometimes I don’t fasten the buttons and just neatly tuck the front and back into the bottoms I’m wearing. Today’s Instagram post is dedicated to four different bodysuit looks, I’ve linked all of the outfits below.
FAVORITE PLACES TO SHOP BODYSUITS:
ABERCROMBIE | I wear XL regular, they have some trendier options that are cute and offer some styles in petite and tall lengths.
AMAZON (MANGOPOP) | I wear XL, recently discovered this brand and couldn’t believe how good they were for the price. They have a wide assortment of styles, necklines, sleeve lengths and colors, most up to XXL.
MADEWELL | I wear XL, this bodysuit is probably my most worn. It’s incredibly comfortable and most styles go up to 3X.
SPANX | I wear XL, definitely one of my nicer quality bodysuits. They only come in two colors up to 3X but the styles are classic and offer a moderate amount of shaping. You can use CARALYN10 for a small discount.
STABODY | I wear XL, the only bodysuit of its kind because you can comfortably use the bathroom in by pulling down the back. It also offers a comfortable smoothing/shaping to the body. I shared them a bunch on my feed years ago and just checked and saw that that CARALYN still works for a discount.
SUMMERSALT | I haven’t personally tried these yet but they’re next on my list in an XL. They have great reviews and appear to be great quality. I believe CARALYN10 works for a discount!
YUMMIE | I wear L/XL One of the first bodysuits I’ve ever tried, I really like the thickness of material and the light/moderate shaping it provides.
