Holiday headquarters is officially in swing! Today I’m excited to share my top picks beauty products and skincare favorites. There is something for everyone at all price points. As your go-to gal, know that I own each of these items and/or plan on gifting them myself this holiday season. Excited to dig into a few of my favorite beauty and self care related items! If you have skin, you deserve skincare — no matter who you are! These make great gifts for friends, family members, coworkers or yourself - ha! Let’s get to it.
Face Halo | Reusable Makeup Remover Pads
Earlier this year I made a conscious choice to be more eco-friendly and do away with makeup wipes (unless it’s a desperate situation). Instead, I use these reusable wipes paired with a cleansing balm applied to a dry, full makeup face (I like this one or this one) and it gets off even the peskiest mascara. Running one of these warm water helps melt off the grime and gives you a mini spa-like experience. After 1-2 uses, I’ll pop in the hamper and wash with my delicates.
HANDS DOWN, the best dry shampoo - EVER. I’ve tried their new formula and I do like it a lot but can’t resist this value priced gift set. Rock & Ruddle Natural Mixed Bristle Hair Brush
I received these hairbrushes as a gift awhile ago and I absolutely love them. I use them everyday, mostly on dry hair. I love that they come in so many different colors and prints! It’s definitely more of a luxe price point for a hair brush, making it the perfect gift. This is the exact one I have!
This may seem like an odd gift but if you know my passion and love for taking care of your properly fitting undergarments, you get it! You can read more about the importance of washing your delicates with a special fabric wash here. I use this wash on all of my bras, underwear, swimwear and even athletic wear. This wash comes in unscented, liquid and granular, they also have a specific one for athleisure here.
This is super random but I’ve felt like Golilocks on the hunt for the perfect medium size hair clip. Everything I’ve tried has been either too big or too small… these ones are just right. Hey— a win is a win, am I right? They’d make a good stocking stuffer!
Trish McEvoy Full-Size Mascara & Eyeliner Duo
A Nordstrom-exclusive, limited-edition eye-conic duo in full sizes that helps you achieve your most defined, long-lasting eye look. The mascara is tubular (meaning no flakes or raccoon eyes) and the gel liner adds a very subtle definition to the eyes. I have a tutorial on my “makeup tips” highlight on IG!
Traditional hair ties can tug on delicate hair, which can lead to damage and breakage. I switched to these hair ties last year and refuse to use anything else. Each has a wide surface area and is designed to reduce those annoying ridges caused by regular hair scrunchies. Coming at around $40, they may not be something she would buy for herself. Which makes it the perfect gift!
Finer than wool, cotton and silk, microfiber material is ultra-soft to the touch, gentle on hair and extremely comfortable to wear. I like to use these fresh out of the pool shower! They come in a few fun prints too.
Galaxy Gorgeous Set
An out-of-this-world set that includes a full-size Bum Bum cream, a scrub, a mist, and a shower gel. All in the iconic scent of Cheirosa ‘62 which I absolutely love, I always get compliments when I wear the Bum Bum Cream!
FULL-SIZE MINERALIST HYDRA-SMOOTHING LIPSTICK TRIO
