Bra Fitting Tips From Home
Let me just go on the record here and say that nothing will replicate an in-person bra fitting experience. I will 100% always advocate for you going to a local specialty shop or a Nordstrom (NOT Nordstrom Rack) for a proper fitting. Bra fitting is a skill and no online quiz or generator can truly determine your size and breast shape.
With that said, I realize it’s not practical go to a store right now. In spirit of that, I wanted to share a few resources that I think are really helpful in determining proper fit. The best thing you can do right now is educate yourself as much as possible on what a proper fitting bra looks like.
If you are desperate and can’t wait for a proper fitting, my friends at Lace & Day are offering virtual fittings (many local shops are so perhaps you can find one closer to you if you’re not in the Buffalo area). You can also check out sites like Bare Necessities or Figleaves - both are fit focused online retailers with fit guides and support. Just be sure to notice their current shipping / returns policies.
