Holiday Gift Guide

HOME

Back at it this week for some fresh home-related gift ideas! Whether you’re shopping for loved ones or just looking for ideas to add to your own wish list, I’m back and better than ever with a newly revamped gift guide layout to help get you in the spirit! Each week through December, I’ll share a new gift guide with an overarching theme. From there, I’ll break down ideas into categories for everyone on your list. I take a lot of pride in my gift guides, only sharing items that I personally own, love, and use or items that I would/plan on purchasing for loved ones! In case you missed last week’s guide, we kicked things off with fashion-related gifts.

Today we’ve got some unique ideas from the cook, the holiday cocktail maker, the one with the green thumb, and the couch potato. Be sure to visit the HOLIDAY tab at the top of the blog to see all previous posts, guides, style inspiration, and festive recipes!

For the cook

This one is for the one who loves to cook and entertain over the holidays or one who even wants to step their cooking/baking game up. A staple in every kitchen is a KitchenAid mixer. Each year you can purchase new attachments for them. A functional knife set is also a must, I saw this gold one that is a total vibe, but we also own this set and love it. A mortar and pestle is a must for the guacamole lover in your life. It’s a great thing to own but not necessarily something someone would buy for themselves! After the past year, BK and I have loved using our air fryer. From veggies to meats and reheating leftovers, it has quickly become a favorite kitchen appliance. You can’t go wrong with a personalized apron, and I recently bought this strainer that works well on any pot or pan, kicking myself for not purchasing it sooner!

For the mixologist

Cocktails, anyone? A classic bar set is a must, I’ll be making all of my holiday cocktails this year in this one! It has every tool you’ll ever need and more and is nice enough to leave out on the counter. Sometimes I get in a cocktail rut, so this book of 1000+ recipes looks promising to keep things fresh. I recently got these glasses for upcoming recipes, and they’ve been a hit. They look much more expensive than they are, and although they said hand wash, they survived the top rack in the dishwasher. One of my favorite pairs of earrings is this dirty martini pair, there are a bunch more cocktail and food-themed options here! Make life easier with a battery-operated wine bottle opener, my dad has this one, and it’s fantastic! I also thought this mix set could be a fun idea, pair with a bottle of their favorite liquor!

For the green thumb

Calling all plant lovers, this one’s for you! Embrace your inner plant lady with this book, it’s on my wish list this year, as well as these garden scissors with fantastic reviews. This grow-your-own herbs grow kit looks fun and gratifying. On weekend mornings, you’ll usually find me with a cup of coffee in one hand and this gold watering can in the other. How sweet is this welcome mat? I’m also eyeing this potting bench, may need this for the yard next spring!

For the couch potato

Are you shopping for someone who appreciates the ability to kick back and relax? These picks are for them. Elevate your candle game with this set of matches in a cloche, Hotel Lobby’s New York candle has been my latest obsession. You can also level up their cozy blanket game by customizing one with their initials, you can shop more styles here. Ornaments are always a great gift, this couch potato one is not exempt! These dual-purpose bowls are great for snacking, you can put your shells and pits in the outer layer. And lastly, why get up at all? We love our Amazon Echo, which syncs nicely with our Phillips Hue lights and other smart home features.
