Holiday Gift Guide: Last Minute Shopping

THE GRAND FINALE

Last Minute GIFTS & Stocking Stuffers

Calling all last-minute shoppers, how are you feeling? Okay, technically, we’ve still got plenty of time to shop before the holidays, but as I slowly but surely start to think about closing up shop for the year, it’s time to complete this year’s gift guide with my final list of ideas that offer quick shipping and are easy to get. In the spirit of being extra cautious, I suggest ordering everything by the 20th. If you’re living on the edge, the last day for 3-day shipping is the 21st. Amazon, of course, has the most generous deadline, offering Prime Members two-day shipping by the 23rd and one-day shipping by the 24th.

In case you missed the first five guides, I’ve got some fun and unique ideas that will arrive in time if you order soon with my fashion-related gifts, gifts for the home, lifestyle-based gifts, gifts of beauty and skincare, and gifts for family members. You can also explore the HOLIDAY tab of my blog to see previous years’ ideas and guides.

LAST-MINUTE GIFT IDEAS Under $40

WITH QUICK SHIPPING!

If you are looking for some quick and easy ideas that are available for quick shipping and aren’t size-specific, I’ve got some ideas for you. Starting with some of my favorite candlesticks, I have two sets in my house, which look great with any decor style. You can pair it with tapered candles, and don’t forget wax adapters as well, so they stand up straight! I also use these bud vases constantly individually and as a grouping. It’s a great way to stretch a bouquet and make mini arrangements throughout your house. Picture frames with updated photos are always a great gift, especially to parents and grandparents. I love this set of three! I purchased this coffee table book a few years ago, it’s a great gift for those who appreciate the finer things in life! This match cloche is a great small business find for the candle lover in your life. It is simply chic and looks great as decor as well. I recently purchased this faux fur blanket as a gift, it has over 15K reviews!

For the adventurer in your life, these packing cubes are a must! I previously shared a tutorial on how I like to use them. For the coffee/tea lover in your life, I recently purchased these vintage-inspired mugs, and I love using them, especially on the weekends, for a fancy-feeling coffee. This white sneaker cleaning kit is a must for the sneakerhead in your life! And lastly, I purchased this oven mitt set for my dad last year, and he uses them constantly. It's great for any cook in your life.

LAST-MINUTE BABY GIFT IDEAS Under $40

WITH QUICK SHIPPING!

I'm sharing a few of my favorite gift ideas for the little ones in your life based on some of my previous finds that we’ve tried and loved. These muslin burp cloths are necessary for any new parent; we have them scattered throughout the house and diaper bags for when needed. They also make great face washcloths and cleaning rags, I’ve heard from dozens of people on how much use they get out of them. These magnetic pajamas have changed my life, and I can’t recommend them enough to any new parent. They make the middle of the night changes a breeze. If you’ve got a drooler, these bibs are essential! They are super soft on the inside and absorb a great amount; I love that they also come in various colors.

You will also find these activity toy rings, diaper bags, etc., scattered throughout our house. You can use one; you can use ten, and they make great on-the-go toys and clip onto anything. I purchased this kid’s first camera for one of my friend’s kids, and it was a hit! As you can see, we have a bit of an “under the sea” theme here with this sensory fish, fish tank activity center, and glowing, singing seahorse that are big hits in our house. I’ve purchased these custom puzzle sets for my niece’s rooms and am very pleased with this brand's customer service. Lastly, we don’t leave the house without these suction spinners. They adhere to hard surfaces and entertain for a while!

Self-Care Essentials

under $30

Bring on the self-care! These would be fantastic stocking stuffers or great gifts for anyone in your life who could benefit from a little extra self-care; who couldn’t, though? Starting with these ice globes, I love to use them in the morning to wake up my skin and to work in my serums. Speaking of serums, this snail serum has taken the internet by storm, and I believe in it. It’s incredibly hydrating and works better than some of the more expensive ones I’ve tried. It’s meant to be used after cleansing, before moisturizing. These under-eye patches are a great little luxury. When I need some extra self-care, I love using them. You can keep them in the fridge for an extra boost of cold.

These cold-kicker shower steamers are a MUST for cold and flu season and help clear congestion. I’ve tried many of the varieties from this brand, but this scent is my favorite. I cannot bear the warm weather without this Megababe thigh rescue. I use it between my thighs and anywhere else needed to prevent chafing. Mascara is always a great gift; most people do not replace theirs often enough, and this one has been a favorite of mine for over a year. I love to keep several of these beauty sponges on hand as I apply most of my makeup with them, and they’re the best ones I’ve tried. This scalp brush is a must for me in the shower to get a deep clean on my scalp and remove any product buildup, and it helps stimulate regrowth. Right out of the shower, I love to use these towel scrunchies to absorb moisture, and they are also great to wear on your wrists when washing your face so that the water doesn’t run down your arms. Lastly, I’ve had a lot of fun playing with this heatless curler set. It takes a little trial and error, but it works! Great for anyone who wants to make their mornings more efficient and use less heat on their hair.

STOCKING STUFFERS

under $20

Saving the best for last here with some fun stocking stuffer ideas under $20. These claws are used constantly in our house to shred meat easily and are dishwasher-safe. These bag clips are multi-use and make keeping things fresh easy. These garnish picks are a MUST for the Bloody Mary lover in your life! I got them for my father-in-law this year. Is it a celebration without Wiley Wallaby? I don’t think so, and their licorice is a FAVORITE in our household. I encourage you to try their various flavors, and we’re always switching it up to which one we like best. It makes a fantastic stocking stuffer as well.

BK uses this sleeping mask, and it always manages to go missing, so I may grab another one for him to have on hand. An umbrella may seem like a random gift, but it’s practical! I’ve had this one for years and have repurchased several as gifts and fits nicely in the stocking. This car cleaning gel works well on your dashboard and computer/keyboard. You’ll be surprised at how much it picks up. These candle wax adapters make using candlesticks a breeze, and you’ll never deal with wobbly candles again. Who doesn’t need a little Poopouri in their life? They have several sizes, which is great for everyone on your list. Lastly, I use this Stretch athleisure wash on all of my high-elasticity items (workout clothes, shapewear, swimwear), and I swear it has made a difference in the lifespan of my clothing items.
