Let’s talk FAB! First Aid Beauty- that is! I’ve been a lover and user of the brand for nearly a decade and a proud partner for three years. I’ve learned A LOT about my skincare journey and what works well for me and my skin. You see me talking about First Aid Beauty on social media and blog, so today, I wanted to share this post as a resource on my favorite products if you’re looking to switch up your skincare or want to explore more! One of my favorite parts about the brand is that there is truly something for everyone. I’ve gotten my mom, dad, younger sister, husband, and friends hooked on different products. Whether you’re a total skincare newbie or expert, their products are approachable for everyone. Without further ado, let’s get into it!
1. ULTRA REPAIR CREAM INTENSE HYDRATION
What it is: A fast-absorbing, rich moisturizer that provides instant hydration for dry, distressed skin and eczema. It is instantly absorbed for immediate relief of dehydrated skin. Suitable for all skin types, even sensitive, and the whole family. It is formulated with Colloidal Oatmeal, this soothing moisturizer leaves your skin feeling smooth, hydrated, and comfortable after a single-use.
Why I love it: I like to call this cream my “gateway product” into First Aid Beauty. It’s the first product I fell in love with and the only product I’ll use on my face and body. Whether it’s winter or summer, you’ll always see a jar of this on my counter unless BK steals it for his use.
2. ULTRA REPAIR HYDRATING SERUM
What it is: A water-based serum that gives skin its daily dose of moisture for soft, smooth, youthful-looking skin. Formulated with skin-renewing ingredients Hyaluronic Acid and Collagen, this serum helps hydrate and improve the skin's overall appearance.
Why I love it: I wish this came in an extra-large container because I would gladly lay in a bathtub full of this stuff. If you are new to serums, this is a great one to start with. It’s lightweight but super hydrating, and I notice a difference when I run out of it so I always try to keep a few bottles on hand. I use this morning and night and it layers perfectly under all moisturizers.
3. ULTRA REPAIR FIRMING COLLAGEN CREAM
What it is: This luxurious, skin-plumping Collagen moisturizer hydrates and helps visibly firm skin. Packed with Collagen, Peptides, and Niacinamide, this moisturizer helps sculpt and smooth skin making it look bouncy, healthy, and youthful with fewer visible fine lines and wrinkles and a soft, supple texture.
Why I love it: It’s got a silky texture that feels incredible on the skin and lays nicely with or without makeup. I’m on my 6th or 7th jar of this stuff, and I always scrape the jar clean. I have a combination of oily and dry skin, and this is the perfect balance of hydration without over or under-doing it.
4. FAB PHARMA WHITE CLAY ACNE TREATMENT PADS 2% SALICYLIC ACID
What it is: A daily treatment pad that keeps breakouts at bay with maximum strength 2% Salicylic Acid, proven to reduce acne & help keep skin clear of new blemishes. These alcohol-free pads keep acne under control without stripping or drying out skin. Along with Salicylic Acid, Kaolin Clay helps draw out impurities, Evermat helps reduce sebum, minimize pores and control shine, and Tea Tree Oil and Willow Bark help exfoliate & smooth skin texture.
Why I love it: Whenever hormonal acne strikes, I turn to these to help keep my acne at bay. You’ll never feel that dry or pulling sensation while using these, and they have the perfect balance of products without drying out my skin.
5. KP BUMP ERASER BODY SCRUB 10% AHA
What it is: This fast-acting body scrub reveals healthier-looking skin with Glycolic and Lactic Acids at a combined level of 10% to help loosen skin’s top layer. It also decongests pores with pumice buffing beads, delivering the benefits of a chemical peel and micro-dermabrasion treatment in one.
Why I love it: Although I don’t have Keratosis Pilaris (KP), a common skin condition that causes dry, rough patches and tiny bumps, I LOVE this stuff. I use a generous amount on my legs and arms once or twice a month and especially before self tanning. The scrub has the perfect amount of granular beads to get that top layer of dead skin off. I’ve turned more people onto this stuff than I can count! My photographer, Ryan, has a sleeve of tattoos on his arm, and he says that this scrub makes his tattoos pop and look much more vibrant.
6. FACE Cleanser
What it is: It effectively removes makeup, dirt, and grime, leaving skin soft and supple. This non-stripping, pH-balanced formula maintains skin's natural acidity and helps reduce flare-ups, never leaving skin feeling tight or dry.
Why I love it: This was the second FAB product I fell in love with and always keep in my rotation. It’s just an excellent, non-irritating cleanser. When I double cleanse, I’ll use this as the second cleanser on heavy makeup days or I’ll use this by itself on non-makeup days in the evening.
7. FAB SKIN LAB RETINOL EYE CREAM WITH TRIPLE HYALURONIC ACID
What it is: A potent, yet gentle rejuvenating eye cream that helps to combat the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while leaving eyes looking smoother, firmer, and more youthful.
Why I love it: This is BK’s favorite skincare product (and one of the few that I can get him to use consistently). He takes a lot of pride in using his ring finger (the most delicate finger) to dot around his eyes and help with anti-aging gently. I also like to alternate back and forth between this eye cream and the Hydrating Eye Cream with Hyaluronic Acid. I get a lot of dryness under my eyes and this helps when I’m feeling extra dry and sensitive.
8. ULTRA REPAIR WILD OAT HYDRATING TONEr
What it is: An alcohol-free, oatmeal-powered toner that hydrates, relieves, and soothes skin while supporting overall skin health for a balanced complexion.
Why I love it: Whenever I want to give my skin a little extra love, I’ll add in this toner to my regimen as an additional step after cleansing and before moisturizing. It makes my skin feel soothed and happy!
9. SCULPTING BODY LOTION
What it is: A hydrating and firming body lotion that helps visibly tone and improve the appearance of skin’s texture, so it looks firm, smooth and lifted.
Why I love it: As a full-busted gal and a side sleeper, I’ll wake up with a bunch of fine lines on my chest. I’ll apply this lotion, which has a thinner consistency than the Ultra Repair Cream, and it helps temporarily tighten and reduce the appearance of the find lines.
10. ULTRA REPAIR LIP THERAPY
What it is: This nurturing treatment helps hydrate, nourish & protect lips. With a semi-matte, non-slip finish it may be worn on its own or layered under lipstick.
Why I love it: Another BK favorite, we fight over this stuff! I keep one at my desk, next to my bed, in my purse, car, and even have a kitchen tube that is not supposed to leave the kitchen drawer (that sometimes does). We cannot leave the house without it! It isn’t super shiny so it works for everyone but it also layers nicely with lipstick too.
