Best Of Swim Week
Welcome to my first ever SWIM WEEK! After sharing a plethora of swimsuit options on my blog and Instagram Stories over the past month, I thought it’d be fun to ‘award’ some of my personal favorite styles. Everyday this week, I’ll be updating this post every morning with a new category (and honorable mentions) that I love and make me feel like my most confident self. Just to reiterate my motto mentioned on previous posts, we all have different preferences when it comes to swimsuits and I believe that should be celebrated! What works on me may not be your preference but I hope by sharing, you may be inspired to try a style or two while celebrating some wins. Here are my favorite styles this season, be sure to check back each day to see each day’s reveal!

WHY I LOVE IT: La Blanca was the first brand I ever invested in for myself and I’ll never forget the feeling of trying it on for the first time. It hugged my curves in all the right places and instantly transformed my confidence. The quality is fantastic and the fit feels very true to size. Despite there being no wires, I felt moderately supported. It also comes with a removable halter strap for some additional light support. I knew I had to kick off this week with an ode to the brand the started my swimsuit confidence journey.

WHY I LOVE IT: For those of you who are proud members of the Properly Fitting Bra Club, you know how incredible bra sized swimwear can be! If you’re not yet, definitely check out this post. Fantasie is Elomi’s little sister brand, specifically meant for smaller bands and fuller busts. Since I’m an “in-betweener,” I can fit into both brands. I love the support and coverage of this one, not to mention the fun navy and white pattern.

ONE PIECE SHIRRED SWIMSUIT
SIZING RANGE: XS-XXL | SIZE WORN: XL
WHY I LOVE IT: I ordered this suit on a whim with no real expectations. I was so pleasantly surprised by the fit and quality, rivaling brands at nearly 3x the price. The fit is easy, comfortable and incredibly beautiful on the body with the ruching and adjustable straps. While it does not have wires, it has a decent amount of support but would be great if you are smaller busted. It comes in a wide range of colors but only up to XXL so I’ll be sure to share a few more inclusive finds.

WHY I LOVE IT: Some occasions call for making a statement! Whether you’re headed to a pool party, resort or just want to feel like a fierce goddess in your backyard this summer, this one does not disappoint. While I wouldn’t consider this an ideal tanning swimsuit, it still had to make the list because of how fierce and fabulous it makes me feel. I found the 14 to be pretty true to size but wouldn’t mind sizing up for some extra roominess. It only goes up to a 16/XXL so I’ll be sure to link some extended sizing options below!

5: best investment swimsuit
SUMMERSALT THE PERFECT WRAP ONE-PIECE

WHY I LOVE IT: If you’ve been around here for awhile, you know my love for Summersalt is not new! I recently did a Summersalt swimsuit haul and sizing review in case you missed it, you can check it out here. They’re one of my favorite quality, size inclusive and eco-concious brands that I’ve worn for three years now. They also feature long torso, maternity and beautiful cover up options. The quality and construction is incredible. For a suit with no wires, I feel a good amount of support. I particularly loved this style because the “wrap” look is one of my favorite silhouettes on my body and makes me feel SO dang confident. Decided to size up to a 16 (I’m a 16 in the hips according to the size chart) and like the extra room there. You can use CARALYN10 for $10 towards your purchase of $95 or more.
