Summersalt Swimsuit Try On
Back at the pursuit of the perfect swimsuit today with a few finds from Summersalt. They’re one of my favorite quality, size inclusive and eco-concious brands that I’ve worn for three years now. My sizing in each suit will be listed beneath each set of photos. For reference, I’m a true US size 14, US 34I bra, 5’8.5 and I have an average torso (not long, not short). My measurements are bust: 44 inches, waist: 34 inches, hips: 46 inches. To make sure you’re measuring yourself correctly, follow the guidance of this post. I share this not to fuel a negative comparison game but to give you an idea that different brands/styles can run on different sizing charts. If you need to size up or down, it’s all good! So here’s to finding what makes us feel good, no matter what the tag says!

THE RUCHED BACKFLIP

I was really impressed by this suit, I LOVE the classic silhouette and tummy support. Many of you have asked for a thicker strapped suit, this is a great option for that.
THE PERFECT WRAP ONE PIECE
SIZING RANGE: 2-22 | SIZE WORN: 14
Color blocking is a huge trend for the season and I simply cannot resist a wrap moment! It’s incredibly beautiful on the body and gives the body an hourglass moment! The front is definitely low but after a little swooping, I felt supported.
THE RUFFLE OASIS

I REALLY love the silhouette of this suit, definitely one of the most conservative styles I’ve tried. It’s a one piece but the two toned fabric gives a two piece illusion. Love the adjustable ruffle strap and higher support on the bust.

I owned this suit last year in a different print and LOVED it. It’s just such an easy silhouette and fit, I love the skinny straps and lower back for minimal tan lines. The seaming on the stomach makes it incredibly comfortable and supportive.

THE RUFFLE SIDESTROKE

I LOVED this style when worn on vacation early last year. I definitely saved it for later in the trip to avoid the awkward tan line. It has built in cups which provide some modesty and support.
THE SIDESTROKE
SIZING RANGE: 0-24 | SIZE WORN: 14
This is their most popular suit and I can definitely see why. It’s truly so beautiful and supportive on the body. However, there is no padding on this one so I had to wear silicone nipple covers to prevent headlights. I would also like to call out the back of the suit, the two strap gives me a little bit of back buldge which is not my favorite.

I am working on trying more two piece styles from the brand and wanted to show this despite the print being sold out. To be honest, I didn’t think this top was very supportive so I am looking forward to trying more styles. The bottoms were perfect though!
