Build A Yogurt Bowl

Build A Yogurt Bowl

A few weeks ago on Instagram Stories, I shared that I’ve been enjoying yogurt bowls in a flat pasta dish (these ones to be exact) for better bites! Since then, I’ve gotten an influx of questions and excitement surrounding it, so I thought I’d give it a special place on the blog to be able to save and refer back to.

I like to make this as a breakfast or snack throughout the day, you can add or use whatever ingredients you like! Feel free to keep it simple or go wild, but I think the key here is to use a flatter bowl/dish and spread the yogurt into a thick layer on the bottom so that you’re able to grab all of the good stuff in every bite.

What you need

Yogurt (I like Wegmans 0% Greek Yogurt or Fage 0%, sometimes I’ll do 5% to switch it up)

Granola (I purchased and currently using this one, but not loyal to any particular)

Seed Mix (sometimes I’ll sprinkle a flax, chia and hemp seed mix like this one)

Fruit of choice mangoes, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, bananas, kiwi, go wild!

Honey or Agave (optional, for sweetness)

Flat bowls (I like these ones)

Instructions

Step 1: Gather Ingredients & Chop
Get your bowl and ingredients out, chop all necessary fruits into bite-sized pieces.

Step 2: Spread Yogurt
Using a spoon (preferably the one you’ll be using to eat with), scoop out your desired amount of yogurt and spread a thick layer to the bottom of the bowl.

Step 3: Add Toppings
I typically go fruit first, then granola and seed mixture. Feel free to arrange with your heart and whatever feels right!

Step 4: Drizzle & Enjoy!
If using, drizzle with a thin layer of honey or agave! Enjoy!

And that’s it!

You will now get the perfect bite and combination in every single spoonful! Please enjoy it and let me know if you end up making this. Thanks for reading.
