CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY Table

The countdown until Christmas is on, and I’m excited to share that we will be hosting Christmas Eve again this year. I know how much many of you enjoyed my Thanksgiving tablescape, so I wanted to share a fresh set of inspiration in case you’re hosting Christmas dinner as well! This year, we’re keeping it simple and doing endless appetizers versus a formal sit-down, so I will be doing a variation of what you see here but will still be using the decor, just with more serving ware and forgoing table settings!

Feel free to recreate the look with what you have, but I’ve gone ahead and linked everything you see below. The majority is available for quick shipping too! THE TABLECLOTH

For me, the real star of the show here is the plaid tablecloth, with similar options here, here, here, here, and here. I cannot resist a holiday plaid, which allows you to keep everything else pretty neutral… The best part about it? It hides spills and crumbs due to its distracting print and goes right into the washing machine once the party is over.

I’m bringing in the same gold details from my Thanksgiving table like my flatware set, candlesticks, and chargers. I kept it simple but still visually interesting with my clear votives, glassware, and champagne glasses. One of my favorite things about working with plaid is that you can pull any colors out to give it an extra pop. While the tablecloth plaid is navy, I loved the contrast these black napkins gave me. I folded them accordion-style and slid through the napkin rings to make a faux bow!

 
 
 
 

Let’s not forget to mention this set of gold deer (I have the larger size), they make the perfect addition to a festive tablescape. I’m thinking about grabbing another, maybe in the smaller size for our spread. I also added these pinecones for a wintry feel. Feel free to add more florals on there, there wasn’t much available when I photographed this, but I loved the look of these berry-esque ones tucked into the napkin!
