My BVI Outfit Recap: What I Packed, Wore, and Loved
Our recent trip to the BVIs was as dreamy as ever, with a return stay at The Hideout that felt like a true escape. I already recapped previous trips with the nearly identical itinerary, hotel + dining FAQs here, so this post is all about the outfits. From sandy toes to sunset dinners, here’s everything I wore, and a few favorites I packed for Conrad too.

Swimsuits & coverups
I always say: a good swimsuit can make or break your beach day. Earlier this year, I published my annual Swim Guide featuring everything from bra-sized support to bump-friendly options, and many of those favorites made it into my suitcase for this trip. I leaned into bold colors and playful prints, pairing them with easy breezy coverups that worked just as well poolside as they did for a quick breakfast or lunch run. Comfortable, supportive, and cute: the only swimsuits that SHOULD be on your body. And don’t forget my favorite pro-tip to swap that annoying padding out for nipple covers for a smooth and seamless look. You can learn more on that and my discount codes here!

Dinner Looks
Evenings in the BVIs are very relaxed, but that doesn’t mean you can’t show up a little elevated. I packed a few easy, breezy dresses (mostly maxi length for toddler-chasing purposes) and paired them with comfy flat sandals like these and these. The real MVP? A supportive wire-free strapless bra (use CARALYN20) that stayed put through sunset cocktails and post-dinner walks… yes, they do exist (check out my strapless bra guide here). These looks strike that sweet spot between dressed-up and totally effortless.

Travel outfits
For travel days and exploring the island, I leaned into playful prints and flowy fabrics, cool enough for the BVI heat and forgiving enough for the occasional toddler snack spill. Most of the dresses I wore had pockets (a non-negotiable, honestly), and I kept things easy with accessories like this lightweight travel tote that packs down to nothing but holds everything. Function met fashion, and I wasn’t mad about it.
What Conrad Wore
toddler looks
Our favorite travel companion brought the looks too! From beach gear to breezy outfits perfect for island life, here are a few of the pieces we packed (and re-wore on repeat). I’ve also previously shared a full post on toddler travel tips and essentials. Many of those MVPs are still going strong and came with us this time around!
Thanks for reading!
I hope this roundup gave you a little outfit inspiration for your next warm-weather getaway.
