Let’s talk about what’s really getting the most use in my top drawer, because these undergarments deserve way more hype. From supportive bras that actually pull their weight, to invisible shaping shorts that save the day under dresses (and prevent the dreaded thigh rub), these are the MVPs I wear on repeat.
Whether you’re team underwire, wire-free, or just here for the no-nip-slip magic of a good nipple cover, I’ve got you. These aren’t all the prettiest pieces in my drawer, they’re the most practical. And that’s what earns them a permanent spot in my rotation.

My Go-to Underwire Bras
These are my ride-or-dies when I want structure, lift, and all-day support, especially for my fuller bust. The Elomi lineup checks every box. Elomi Lucie: My go-to for size fluctuations or asymmetry. The stretch lace top cup flexes with your body without sacrificing shape or support. Pretty and practical. Shop a similar style in a smaller bust option here.

Elomi Smooth: Everyday magic. Seamless under tees, soft against the skin, and just enough shaping to keep everything in place. A “don’t-think-twice” kind of bra.

Wire-Free Bras
For those days when comfort is non-negotiable, these wire-free styles deliver. Please remember, no wires means no separation, but the trade-off is next-level comfort and considering no wires, all of these give great support. Evelyn & Bobbie Defy: This is the one I wear around the house… and then forget to take off. It’s smoothing, lifting (yes, even without wires), and wildly comfortable. Think bralette vibes with way more support. It carried me through several life changes and fluctuations. You can also shop it here!
Evelyn & Bobbie Scoop: A little more structured than the Defy, but still insanely comfy. Great for under tees or tanks when you want a clean shape without any digging. An everyday staple. You can also shop it here!
EBY Support Bra: Wire-free with a little extra oomph. The wide band adds support, and the seamless fabric makes it great under fitted tops. Chantelle Norah Wireless: Soft (and invisible) lace, structured shape, this one gives a good amount of lift and it has thinner straps, which I like. (And if you love the look but want underwire, it comes in that too!)
Shapewear & Underwear
These are the unsung heroes of the drawer, the pieces that smooth, support, and stay invisible under clothes. Whether I’m dressing up or just want a little more comfort and coverage, these are the ones I grab most often.
Chantelle SoftStretch High-Waist Brief: Stretchy, seamless, and basically feels like nothing/air. These mold to your body without digging or rolling, and somehow still stay put. My go-to for everyday comfort. Keep in mind, if they do roll, you may need to change the size.
Soma Vanishing Tummy Brief: Smoothing without squeezing. These have a little more structure and a clever waistband that helps prevent muffin top. Great under jeans and dresses alike.
Spanx Smooth Fit-to-You Mid-Thigh Short: Not much support, but smoothes, and the fabric is so soft, with a waistband that doesn’t dig and legs that don’t roll. I reach for these when I want shaping that still feels breathable. You can use CARALYN15!
Spanx Invisible Shaping Mid-Rise Short: Light shaping and anti-chafe in one. These are super thin (aka invisible under most dresses) and offer just enough support to feel held without feeling uncomfortable. You can use CARALYN15!
