Easy, Everyday Outfits
That Work For Every Phase
(Pregnant or Not)
As I enter this new season, I’ve been leaning into pieces that just work, no matter what stage of life you’re in. Everything I’ve been wearing lately happens to be bump-friendly (because that’s where I’m at right now), but the best part? None of it’s technically maternity. These are the kind of pieces that grow with you... whether you’re expecting, postpartum, or just want comfortable, flattering styles that move with your body.
I rounded up a few of my favorite outfits from this past month, the ones I’ve been reaching for over and over again.
EFFORTLESS LAYERED NEUTRALS
Where to wear it: A day of casual meetings or a weekend outing with the family.
This outfit nails that “effortlessly pulled-together” vibe. A striped tee and cropped black pants are easy basics, but layering with a soft coatigan makes it feel intentional. Add comfy flats and a suede tote. Bump optional, confidence required.

CARDIGAN (XXL - Runs generous, could have worn XL)
STRIPED SHIRT (1X - USE CARALYN15)
CROPPED KICK FLARE PANTS (1X - USE CARALYN15)
casual & classic COLOR PLAY
Where to wear it: Weekend outings, casual dinners, or school pick-up.
If you’ve been following for a while, you know I love a good knit dress moment. This chocolate ribbed dress hugs in all the right places without feeling restrictive. A cropped denim jacket keeps it casual, while a textured tote and printed loafers pull it together.
COZY ON-THE-GO
Where to wear it: Morning walk, weekend errands, daycare drop-off, or a cozy coffee run.
There’s nothing better than a coordinating set that feels put-together but effortless. This crewneck and leggings combo has been my go-to lately: stretchy, comfy, and still pulled-together. I layered a long puffer vest and white sneakers for that clean, casual finish.

PUFFER VEST (XL)
LONG SLEEVE (1X - USE CARALYN15)
LEGGINGS (1X - USE CARALYN15)
denim Dress days
Where I’d wear it: Apple picking, fall strolls, or any casual weekend outing.
A denim shirtdress is one of those easy pieces that never fails. It’s roomy, classic, and just structured enough to define your shape with a belt. I’ve been pairing it with knee-high boots and my go-to suede tote for a timeless fall look that works year after year.

laid-back layers
Where to wear it: Around the house, weekend errands, or a cozy travel day.
When in doubt, comfort wins. This outfit is all about elevated basics, a ribbed zip-up, a white tee, soft flares, and cozy platform slippers. It’s a reminder that you don’t need maternity clothes to feel comfy; you just need good stretch and smart layering.
FULL ZIP-UP (XXL)
SAMD SWEATER IN A QUARTER ZIP (I own & wear XXL in)
T-SHIRT (14/16)
SIMILAR SHIRT (I wear XXL Tall in)
FLARE LEGGINGS (XL)
blue hues & vintage vibes
Where to wear it: Casual Fridays or lunch with friends.
This cardigan-and-denim combo feels classic with a pop of personality. The high-rise jeans have stretch that keeps things comfortable, and I love how the tonal blue loafers tie it all together. Proof that you can feel polished and comfortable at the same time.

LIGHT LAYERS & Mini DRESSES
Where to wear it: A baby shower, brunch, or fall outing.
This floral dress hits that sweet spot between structured and airy. Paired with knee-high boots and my new favorite cropped trench coat, it’s feminine, fun, and wearable for just about any occasion.

COMFORTABLE, ELEVATED EVENING
Where to wear it: Dinner date, to the theatre, work
This outfit proves “bump-friendly” doesn’t have to mean oversized. These cropped faux leather pants have just enough stretch, and the fitted ribbed top keeps everything smooth and comfortable. I topped it with a textured cardigan for a polished layer and added a fun printed flat. It’s classic, chic, and secretly very forgiving.

A FEW MORE EVERYDAY FAVORITES
I couldn’t wrap up this post without a few more favorites that have been on constant rotation lately. My go-to leggings (which come in both plus and maternity sizing!) have been perfect for morning walks, travel days, and lounging around the house. I’ve been throwing on this oversized cardigan or my trusty puffer vest for an easy extra layer, and finishing almost every look with my charm necklace that adds that little something special even on casual days. From cozy layers to Sunday game-day gear, these are the pieces that make getting dressed feel effortless, no matter what the day brings.
