New year… new workout finds! Today, I’m sharing a few fresh picks for athleisure style for your workouts and everyday casual wear, along with some of our favorite workout gear. I always find that when I feel good and supported working out, I’m more likely to put in the effort and make it a good one!

Speaking of support, I have previously and recently shared my expert picks on sports bras for all sizes and preferences. I have also shared some health and wellness picks, travel outfit ideas, and ways to style wide-leg yoga pants in case you get stuck in a rut while keeping them comfortable! I’ve also shared my suggested retailers for shopping skorts and some styling ideas and previously shared a workout routine. Right now, I’m taking things daily, but I have been doing a lot on our treadmill (high-incline walking), as well as some strength and mobility training and yoga.

I shared more about my sports bra favorites in this post. I encourage you to check it out and determine the type of support that is meant for you - did you know there are two different ways to get support from a sports bra? I needed to try some new sizes in my new phase of life, so I recently purchased these sports bras for workouts, and I can’t wait to try them out, will report back! Since I wear sports bras that do not have a racerback, I like to keep my bra straps covered with tanks like this one or this tee, which I splurged on but has lasted a long time.

I’m very particular about my leggings and like what I like; as you can see from my previous legging guide. I believe when you find the right style/silhouette for your body type and take care of them, it’s okay to splurge and you will get your return on investment. Yoga pants are making a comeback and I have fallen subject to the trend. I’ve had this pair since the fall and love to wear them running errands or on our family walks.

Remember that rolling is typically an indicator of a size issue, so if your leggings roll, you don’t have to live like that! Try sizing up, sizing down, or trying a different rise (mid-rise vs. high rise). With that said, if you are not using Stretch Athleisure wash to take care of your athleticwear and other high elasticity items (shapewear, swimwear), you are missing out! I firmly believe it has extended the life cycle of my garments.

Workout Gear

Still newly postpartum, my workouts look a little different than pre-pregnancy. I take it daily and try to move my body as much as possible. I have recently been walking on the treadmill (this is the exact treadmill we have had for years and I love it!) and following the 12-30-3 method you may have seen online; an incline of 12 for 30 minutes at 3 mph. Stretching and foam rolling are important to your post-workout recovery. This foam roller and yoga mat are perfect for stretching and muscle recovery! See below for a few more of my picks:
