Spring has sprung, and with that comes many special occasions and opportunities to let people know how special they are! I’m teaming up with ABLE today, one of my favorite ethical and sustainably made brands with an emphasis on supporting women, to share a few of my favorite picks for gifting and a special code with you. I had the opportunity to sit and speak with the women who work behind the brand, including many of the women in the jewelry-making department who are getting back on their feet after falling on hard times. It was incredibly moving and powerful, making me appreciate the heart and soul put into each handmade piece.
Baby K’s expected arrival is in June, so I couldn’t resist this Bloom Birth Month Necklace to celebrate Mother’s Day. is also a fun way to incorporate the initials of a loved one, and we don’t have a name for the baby yet, so I opted for “BCW” (Brian, Caralyn, Walter) to represent our little growing family. I’ve been wearing the Evermore Ring (size 9) since it arrived, it’s the most delicate and dainty piece, and I love the double knot.
Their leather goods are a fantastic gift idea, and the Karla Belt bag is a fantastic, versatile pick. Made from their classic pullup leather, which has a sophisticated yet easy and relaxed feel. It was designed with an open compartment that is large enough to fit an iPhone, as well as a series of card slots and a magnetic closure, it has all the functionality of a wallet. The internal loops and external loops allow you to convert them into a crossbody or a belt bag. You can also customize it with your initials for an additional $12!
