Inclusive Finds From Athleta
I’ve been wearing brands underneath the Gap Inc. umbrella since birth, no joke! One of my first jobs in high school was a retail associate at Gap and that’s when I really started to learn more about their other brands: Old Navy, Banana Republic and Athleta. It wasn’t until adulthood when I started ordering from Athleta and loving on their sportier styles. I just went back into my account and found the order from 2017 when I first purchased their Skyline Pant. At the time, I was ECSTATIC to find a comfy, non-denim, non-legging pant that I could travel in while still looking cute. They also came in a short option. Keep in mind, this was well before joggers were all the rage. As I continued to grow my online platform with an emphasis on size inclusivity, I ultimately decided to stop sharing them because the largest size they went up to was a size 16. UNTIL NOW!
Introducing Athleta’s new inclusive sizing, now up to a size 26 and 3X! Coming from the plus size fashion industry, it makes my heart SO happy to see how well they’ve committed towards representing different shapes and sizes of women in their marketing. After all, women come in many shapes and sizes. I’m excited to rediscover the brand and share my thoughts on a few recent finds, all sized up to a 26/3X!

I found their fit to be just as good, if not a little more generous and equipped for curves more than ever before.
I wish I sized up in the dress for a bit more length but other than that, I think I nailed the sizing from my estimates. I tend to size down in leggings and size up in tops. The fabric on the dress is really impressive, feels sporty but looks a tad dressier and it’s similar to the pant. Many members of my Properly Fitting Bra Club Facebook group have suggested this bra as a good option for a wire-free / low impact bra and I totally get the hype. It fit me well and I loved the strap detailing on the back.
