Happy Fall! To be honest, this was a highly requested post with an emphasis on boots but if I’m being transparent… I resist boots for as long as I can because Buffalo, NY winters are LONG and never ending. I NEED to wear boots well into April, sometimes May so please excuse me while I resist wearing socks until it’s socially unacceptable to do so. With that said, I still got you covered. For you gals needing wide widths / wide calf options- I crowd sourced a list of brands last year that are tried and true. I am a size 11 but don’t wear wide width or wide calf so I can’t personally speak to the styles but the brands mentioned here should at least help a little bit!

Pre-COVID I was generally a very functional shoe gal, I traveled a ton so I needed shoes that would pack well and were comfortable for long days of walking. All of the shoes mentioned in this post I own and wear frequently, you may recognize them from recent posts. You may recognize my favorite little white sneakers, more on those here! Real talk, I’ve mostly been wearing these slippers everyday because… I’m not getting out much! I will be sure to sprinkle in more boots as the winter approaches but you can check out this post I did last year on winter boots. In the meantime, I hope you’ll accept these shoe picks… you’ll be seeing a lot more them until it snows (which might be next week- ya never know 🤪).

Feel free to leave any questions below! I wear a size 11 in all styles mentioned. As always, thanks for reading! xx CMK
