Fellow Confidence Crusaders
When I began growing my online community back in 2016, it was imperative that I created something to educate, support, encourage and celebrate women. From there, I began calling myself a confidence crusader! I’m a firm believer in community over competition and that there’s a place for all of us to succeed. It’s important for us to celebrate each other- our similarities and our differences. Today, I’m excited to share a list of some of my favorite ladies to follow who also encourage confidence and shine from the inside, out. It’s important to fill your feed with accounts that lift you up and make you feel good while scrolling I plan on adding to this post as time goes on so consider this first of many! One of my absolute best friends in real life, Maxey is a plus size model and plus size fashion expert. She is extremely well known within the plus industry, especially for breaking barriers. Essie describes herself as a fat icon, designer, body positive advocate and is the founder of the @golden.confidence movement. She is one of the kindest women I’ve EVER met and is truly a champion for curvy women all over. Follow her @essiegolden!
Kristina is a size 14 model, style expert and host based in Los Angeles, CA. We’ve been IG friends for awhile now but met earlier this year and can confirm what you see on her IG is how she is in real life! My virtual (and in real life) BFF, Mandy created her platform to normalize the conversations around mental health. She is the ultimate hype girl, always advocating and rooting for others. When I first started filling my feed with more body positive inspiration, Britney was one of the first people I followed. She is very transparent about her own confidence journey which created a safe space for others to relate. Bailey and I connected well over a year ago when she was first starting her platform and I’m incredibly proud of how much she has grown.
