The Friday Fit: Fall Bucket List

Happy Friday! Welcome to a special edition of The Friday Fit. In addition to sharing some of the highlights from this week, I also thought it’d be fun to share some aspirations for the season as well.

LWH is feeling festive in his jack-o-lantern hoodie (similar style here). It always amazes me how much he tolerates me dressing him up! He loves it. My set can be found here.

Ate dinner at my dad’s house, he always does a nice job setting the table.

My mom and I accidentally showed up to said dinner in the same romper. We made the pumpkin pie martinis like I mentioned last week and they were a hit! Also hi, LWH!

Joined the Apple Watch party and so far, I’m loving it! I really like tracking my activity throughout the day and the convenience of not having to look at my phone every time I get a notification. I’ve been trying out all different bands and have been loving this scrunchie-looking one - it’s really comfortable on my wrist when I’m typing on my computer all day.

Walter and my mom’s dog, Teddy are #friendshipgoals. They really love each other- it just warms my heart!

This week was solid! I’d give it a 7.5/10. It was productive, I managed to meet all of my deadlines and somewhat get ahead of projects I’m working on but I feel a little drained. I always look to the weekends for a chance to recharge. In case you missed it, I posted special occasion / wedding guest dresses, had a guest contributor help me put together a maternity and nursing bra guide, showcased this size inclusive tie dye set and rounded out the month with September’s best selling items. Now that I’ve finally accepted that fall is here, I thought it’d be fun to dream up a little bucket list before winter comes:

  1. Apple picking (going tomorrow with my niece)

  2. Make something with said apples picked (spam me with your apple recipe recs)

  3. Take family photos in peak foliage (which is next week I think here in Buffalo)

  4. Roast pumpkin seeds (my favorite part of carving pumpkins tbh)

  5. Fall themed dinner / wine & cheese night (would be cute to dress up!)

  6. Make all of the soups! Skinnytaste is usually my go-to.

  7. Plan a mini-staycation… something within a 1-3 hour driving distance.

Tried to keep it realistic because we’ve had snowstorms in October but I’d love to know… what’s on your fall bucket list? I look forward to reading! As always, thanks for taking the time to read! xx CMK
