Stylish Winter Boots

As a Buffalo native, I consider myself a winter veteran. Despite my lack of enthusiasm surrounding the cold weather, I certainly know how to dress for it! Here are a few pairs of winter/ cold weather boots that I’ve had luck with. Many of these styles will be on sale for cyber week so be sure to keep an eye on them if they’re not already marked down.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:

I’ve already covered fall + dressier boot options, especially for wide widths / wide calves that you can check out here!

STYLING TIPS:

Winter boots can be very clunky and feel very heavy and large. In my honest opinion, the warmest boots I’ve ever had have been on the larger side- there’s really no way to avoid that. However, I think it’s all about balancing those proportions. In my experience, I’ve found wearing a slimmer leg pant or legging with boots looks the best. Tucking your pants / leggings into the boots creates an elongated look.
Looking for extra warmth? Lately I’ve been seeing (and loving) the winter boots with socks trend. Get a mid-length sock (instead of a knee high) like these or these in a neutral color to add warmth without the added bulk.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Be sure to leave any other brands you love or any additional styling tips you’ve found helpful. As always, thanks for allowing me to be you go-to gal!
